According to the figures released by China’s National Bureau of Statistics, In the January to November period of this year, China’s total fixed asset investment (excluding rural households) amounted to CNY 32.6236 trillion (USD 5.2365 trillion), up 20.7% YoY.

The year on year growth rate in question was unchanged compared to that recorded for the January to October period. Meanwhile, China’s total fixed asset investment indicated a month-on-month increase of 1.26% in November.

Also in the January to November period, fixed asset investment in China’s iron and steel sector increased by 2.7 percent year on year to CNY 455.6 billion (USD 73 billion), while this growth rate was down 1.2 percentage points compared to January to October. Meanwhile, fixed asset investment in the domestic ferrous mining industry in the first 11 months of the year amounted to CNY 139 billion (USD 22.3 billion), increasing by 21.4% YoY with a decrease of 1.7 percentage points in the growth rate compared to that registered in the January-October period.
